 WHERE SCIENCE MEETS ART

Being a scientific glassblower by trade for the past 30 years and an artist at heart, I have been able to combine the two professions and create beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind glass art. Customers consider my work as heirloom worthy and give them as gifts to hand down from generation to generation.

The group of hand blown vases above are very similar to my hand blown perfume bottles. The primary difference is that the perfume bottles have stopper tops. Shapes, sizes, and colors vary since each piece is hand-worked. I also believe that this gives individuality to all of our one-of-a-kind artwork.

SAIL FIN TANG

This lamp-worked fish is an example of the ornamental glass work I do. The majority of my inspiration is from nature and music. And, just like a good blues song or a good home cooked meal, I put my heart in soul into each and every one-of-a-kind hand blown or lamp-worked glass piece I create. I believe this is what adds character and personality to all of my artwork.







SEA TURTLES

Here is an example of two turtle sculptures mounted on petrified wood. Much of my inspiration comes from the ocean and its sea-life with all their beautiful shapes and colors.

Many memories that I have had at the coastal beaches are incorporated into each and every piece to insure beautiful, one-of-a-kind color designs.

SEA LIFE

This photo is a combo of both hand blown and lamp-worked art glass. The photo doesn’t do justice, but will help show the range of my skills.

I combine many of these sculptures to make beautiful seascapes with glass kelp of various natural stones, such as petrified wood, as shown above. I have been inspired to make sealife from spending lots of time on and in the ocean. I am facinated by the colors and personalities of its life form. So, I use vibrant colors and always try to bring out the personality of each piece I create. 
 

LAMPWORKED GLASS BARRETTES

These colorful lampworked barrettes come in various shapes

and sizes. Some are turtles, some are fish, and some are simply geometrical. The backings are available in small and medium sizes and made in France. Unique glass gifts for anyone special in your life. Gifts that are not ordinary; something people will cherish for years to come.

BLOWN GLASS BEADS

Beautiful handblown glass beads come in a variety of shapes and colors, just as all of my other work does. All are considered to be one of a kind as a result.

Many of the color schemes that I use are inspired from the colors found in nature, especially the mountains and oceans. Incredible greens, blues, and golds are used in my creations. Great dread lock beads!

LAMPWORKED GLASS BEADS

Abundant, vibrant colors are layered on these lampworked glass beads. Just like the handblown glass beads, each one is unique, which makes them great for collectors.

These beautiful collector glass beads have holes that are 3/32nds of an inch in diameter and are great for making jewelry of all sorts, including macrame and wire-wrapped necklaces, bracelets, and anklets.

This beautiful, shimmery, emerald and gold handblown glass

perfume bottle with matching top is just an example of the uses for clear and colored borosilicate glass.

LAMPWORKED TURTLES on PETRIFIED WOOD

This is a custom piece and heirloom that will be in our family forever.  It will be passed down from generation to generation as a keepsake.

It is our hopes that Turtle Mountain Glass will become archeological artifacts for the millineums to come!

SEA LIFE COMBO

The fish and octopus can be sat on a shelf or hung because there is an added loop.  Many of our customers like to use them as Christmas tree ornaments during the holidays and then display them otherwise for the remaining year.

DRAGONFLIES

These dragonflies are among the favorites.  They are mounted on petrified wood and hang on the wall.  They are beautiful!
